Image Workflows for Beginners

We will focus on best practices for your images workflow when building a website, including media organization, image resizing and compression tools and warehousing. The difference between using RW's built in publishing function and warehousing will be explained. I will show you how to use Transmit, an FTP program to publish and warehouse media, although the logic is similar to other FTP programs. Several workflow strategies and their logic will be demonstrated. Emphasis will be on photos and the tradeoff between retaining sharp clarity, file size and compression.
